Novacray Limited was founded in 1978 by Michael John Sturgess (John) and Peter Thomas Lowe. The Company soon began to prosper, carrying out many major projects in and around the Coventry and Warwickshire areas, one of the first such projects was the residential accommodation at the Warwickshire Constabulary Headquarters. These initial contracts laid the foundations for future successes.
In April 2001 Peter Lowe retired from the Company to pursue other horizons and from this date John Sturgess took over sole Directorship of Novacray Limited. Following Peter’s departure there were several changes to the operation of the Company. Sarah Vicary took on the role of Project Manager and in 2006 was appointed to the role of Project Director, and Elaine Sturgess took on the role of Company Secretary whilst continuing to manage both Personnel and Accounts.
The main activity of business for Novacray today is with Local Authorities, Health Authorities, Universities and Colleges. The Company’s name is on the selective list of tenders for most, if not all, of the Public Authorities within the Area.
The Company has been situated in the South of Coventry for the past 30 years. Throughout these years Novacray has become an established, highly respected Electrical Contractor.
