Swamp has been delivering opportunities to young people from the southwest area of Glasgow since 1996.

The south west arts and music project (SWAMP) is a community led organisation created in the South West area of Glasgow in 1996 by a group of local residents, musicians and artists as a response to the lack of activities and opportunities available for young people in the area at that time.

South West Arts & Music Project uses the arts to enhance literacy and cultural awareness and to promote social inclusion and community spirit within the locality and has been successfully sustaining this for the last 18 years. During this time we have taken a dilapidated building within our community and re developed it which included replacing the full roof render work and construction work within the premises creating a state of the art media facility that includes a professional 48track digital recording studio, 2 rehearsal rooms , ITC suite, Creative Arts room and a large green screen filming studio which is used by both professional production companies and the wider community.
