Vocademy lessons are so full of technical tips, performances, pop-tastic tunes and excitable singers that you would think it's based in Narnia! Over the past 3 years Vocademy has been a massive hit with thousands of young aspiring singers as well as their sometimes-tortured parents!
Vocademy is the part-time singing school where YOU get to learn vocal techniques whilst building confidence. You will also learn about self expression which we feel are all very important skills which can be used for the rest of your lives.
Vocademy started as a small part-time school in Brighton and due to popular demand has grown to 10 schools and counting... (Might even be more by the time you have read this!)
Each week students get to perform their favourite songs whilst learning more about live performance. This leads up to the end of term gig where students get to perform in front of a live (extra supportive) audience made up of friends, family and music industry professionals.
All singers are taught by experienced and qualified tutors who work in the music industry. All tutors are also CRB checked.
Vocademy can benefit your child's academic studies! Learning to sing can be a challenging process, which forces your child to confront songs at a higher level. Aspects of technique, which at first sight might appear to be difficult or even impossible, can gradually become easier and your child will personally choose to perfect their performance through practice. You will begin to see significant progress and your child will have learnt a lesson that will benefit their academic studies as much as their singing; That no matter how difficult something might appear at first it can be mastered with a little patience and practice!
Vocademy helps your child's social development! Many children and teenagers suffer from a lack of self-confidence or a measure of shyness in social situations. As professional performers, whose teenage years are not yet entirely forgotten, no one understands this better than Vocademy's tutors. We help your child to develop a confidence and sense of self-esteem that will enhance their ability to present themselves professionally and take pride in their voice, using it to good effect. Even if your child does not go on to pursue a career in singing, these skills will benefit their academic and workplace success throughout life.
Vocademy helps your child relax and enjoy themselves! Children can often have surprisingly tough social and educational demands on them at such a young age. As well as coping with the pressures of exams your child may have to deal with difficult social challenges within their peer group. Vocademy provides a release from this, helping your child to build another circle of friends with a shared love of singing and a strong sense of belonging and relaxation is quickly fostered.
